Throughout the summer, make the most of the Grand Massif lifts to effortlessly reach breathtakingly panoramic viewpoints!

Please note that in the event of adverse weather conditions, the lifts will be shut for the day.  For information, please call +33 (0)4 50 90 40 00, except Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The view is breath-taking.  Mont Blanc is right in front of you, so imposing that it seems just a few steps away.
With easy access for everyone, the Grande Platières DMC takes you straight up to the majestic display of peaks, where the entire Mont Blanc range reveals its panoramic splendour from the Aiguille Verte (green needle) to the Aiguilles de Chamonix.  To get back down, you have a choice… on foot, following one of the marked paths, accomplished mountain bikers can ride down, or simply take the cable car.

Les Carroz: the Kédeuze gondola

In summer, it is possible to head off for several days or just a couple of hours’ discovering our many marked trails.


Whether on foot or mountain bike, ride up in the Kédeuze gondola which is open all summer long to whisk you straight to the heart of the Grand Massif with magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Thrill seekers can enjoy one of 2 permanent downhill mountain bike tracks signposted from the top of the gondola.

Morillon: the Bergin and Esserts chairlifts

What would you say, if in just a few minutes you could find yourself at an altitude of 1500m in the midst of some of the most beautiful scenery?
The alpine pastures of La Veille on the ski slopes of Morillon 1100 are a corner of paradise which anyone can get to by taking the Esserts and Bergin chairlifts.
There are also several easily accessible downhill mountain bike trails just for you (altitude drop of 513m), exhilaration guaranteed!!!

Samoëns: Grand Massif Express gondola and Chariande Express chairlift

The Grand Massif Express gondola and Chariande Express chairlift take you right to the paragliding take-off zone and the footpaths and mountain bike trails heading off from the Tête de Saix plateau.
Don’t miss the fabulous views at the top, of the valley and the Mont Blanc mountain range!
